June 2015: Jon has completed his semester-long internship, graduated from college and taken off for an extended European tour. His work has contributed two valuable Ed. Tech. Hello
My name is Jon Cappetta and I'm a Communications major at Sonoma State University. I'm currently a senor at SSU and plan on graduating spring 2015. I was born and raised in San Diego and love any activity that is outdoors related, including activities such as hiking, sports or riding my bike on the coast highway. I have no regrets going to Sonoma State, I feel so lucky being able to explore the beauties of California by growing up in southern California and now attending college in northern California. I have a passion for writing. I write News articles for my schools student newspaper. News reporting is something I highly enjoy and something I aspire to do in my future. My favorite articles to write about involve student ran clubs or organizations, I enjoy getting to know these club members and love being able to publicize their clubs so they can receive even further notoriety around campus. I'm excited to be involved in HCLE and look forward to the new experience.

Jon's semester-long internship is complete and HCLE thanks him for his super contributions (Scroll down to view). We now have interviews with Bob Albrecht and myself (Liza Loop) as well as short and long magazine articles, lots of publicity on the Sonoma State University campus and expanded materials on how to do oral histories. The improvement in Jon's demonstrated writing skills is impressive. I hope Jon's experience with this internship contributes significantly to achieving his career goals. Best of luck, Jon, and come back to do more oral history with us after your European travels.

Great work on the interview! Now for some editing of things like 'loop center' becoming LO*OP Center, headings, subheadings and anchors. That should help find key quotes.
When that's done we'll put the interview on a separate page linked to my page. For some people, we'll hide their interviews if they don't want to reveal their raw speech to the public. I don't care. Would you like to do a blog for HCLE on this?

Looks good, Jon. However, I'd call these "General" not "Specific" Tasks. Can you pick 3 or 4 specific pages you want to work on first and let me know when you have built new ones? Once we agree that the new ones are better than existing pages we can substitute the new ones.
